Wireless Energy Metering/Sub-Metering Systems

Energy-conscious organizations understand that if you can’t measure it, you can’t control consumption. Building a solutions-oriented system for energy metering just got easier, using the Millennial Net Wireless Energy Monitoring Systems (Wi-EMS).

It is the total solution for energy monitoring in office or commercial buildings, schools, universities and hospitals. Using remote wireless MeshScape® networking technology, you can easily add Wi-LEM and Wi-Pulse devices that monitor and log key points of energy consumption such as HVAC, lighting, refrigeration, etc. to existing facilities.
  • Wi-LEM Energy Meter Nodes can be placed on existing circuits for sub-metering using the network
  • Wi-Pulse nodes can connect individual pulse-output meters into the network
  • Wi-IO is a general purpose device used to monitor and control an analog, digital and serial inputs and outputs
Using the Wi-EMS sub-metering devices, you can develop a comprehensive energy consumption profile and database. The user-friendly Wi-EMS software is a tool for improving decision-making with actual energy consumption data from wireless devices, which eliminates manual data entry and potential errors. Wi-EMS enables comparisons across different sites, different operating conditions, and specific parameters such as floor space and outside temperatures.

The dashboard display shows energy usage by site and location, by hour, week or month. It enables you to capture, evaluate, compare and use data for making important energy-saving decisions. The data can be used to analyze consumption by area, department, time of day, etc, to allocate costs and focus energy management efforts. Cost savings of upwards of 10% per year or more can be achieved by monitoring and optimizing energy consumption, making more funds available for critical budgets.
